"It’s an incredible coup for the state of New Hampshire to have one of the nation’s great thinkers addressing the manufacturing community," New Hampshire Division of Economic Development Director Michael Vlacich said. "In times when creative solutions are key to business development and survival, Doug Hall has some incredible lessons to share with all of us."

Ranch, a new brand/product creation shop based in Newtown, OH, has helped corporations such as American Express, Nike, Proctor & Gamble and Walt Disney discover measurably smarter choices for growth. He is the author of four best selling books and a popular speaker on sales, marketing, creativity and innovation. He has also hosted and starred in a wide range of network radio and television programs.

"Successful entrepreneurship demands measurable results and Doug Hall and his team certainly meet that criteria," said Jim Roche, President of the Business & Industry Association of New Hampshire, which is organizing the 6th Annual Governor’s Advanced Manufacturing and High Technology Summit in coordination with the New Hampshire Division of Economic Development and the New Hampshire Manufacturing Extension Partnership. "With an 88 percent client repeat rate, the Eureka! Ranch is a proven commodity whose tactics will be of great use to the manufacturing community."

In addition to Doug Hall, the Summit will feature workshops on "Supply Chain Management – The Power of Strategic Partners," "Take Your Business International," "Lean Product Development" and "Accounting for Lean."

"This is an agenda that was truly developed based on the recommendations of the state’s manufacturers," New Hampshire Manufacturing Extension Partnership Director of Operations Zenagui Brahim said. "The topics that they selected are ones that have the most bearing on their bottom line and profitability. This is a summit that is both for manufacturers and by manufacturers."

Citizens Bank will serve as key sponsor for the Summit, continuing a role that it established as lead sponsor for the recently concluded Governor’s Manufacturing Leadership Series. Other sponsors include BAE Systems and the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.

"Citizens is pleased to be able to assist in bringing these great educational opportunities to the state’s manufacturing base," said Citizens Bank President Cathleen Schmidt. "Manufacturing is a key industry that relies heavily on keeping current with the latest processes and trends, and these events allow our state’s manufacturers to learn from some of the region and nation’s foremost experts. They’re a boilerplate for business success."
